Hello GORBA Members,

With another hard covid year nearly over we are trying to put together an Event/Christmas Party, so everyone gets the chance to get their cars out of the shed and have a bit of a play, then have a social night for everyone to get together and socialise a bit while still following all the ever changing covid rules.

So the plan that we have come up with is-

    Event

    Event Name:   GORBA Timing Day

    Date:   Saturday 20th November, 2021

    Time:   From 7.30am to 5.30pm

    Venue:  Geelong Motor Sports Complex, Beach Road, Avalon

    Please Note the following;

• Club members only (only because of numbers we have over 25 cars ready to go).
   
• We are testing out a new Timing System, so there will be no official time for the day.
  (You may be able to see Heat or Lap Times for some of your Heats, but we are testing the system, so nothing is guaranteed).
   
• You will get to do at least 2 Heats.

    Event Rules

• Everyone in attendance needs to be Vaccinated.
  

• Only 1 Driver and 1 Navigator (for a 2 seater car) allowed per car.

    Christmas Party

• Everyone in attendance needs to be Vaccinated.
  
  
• After the event has finished the Club will provide a BBQ (sausage, hamburgers and a simple salad) for tea.
   
• Camping will be available at the track for the Saturday night.
   

• BYO:  Chair, Grog and Swag
